CHALLENGE
The customer wanted to open his first salon but lacked construction and design expertise. Working with a lender, the customer needed to ensure proper project tracking to hold all parties accountable throughout the project’s duration. The chosen location lacked proper water drainage systems, and the overall property (a strip mall) had not been upgraded in years.
SOLUTION
Steady Solutions was retained to assist with all aspects of the project: engineering, architectural design, permitting, and construction. Despite a lack of documentation on the property, Steady’s engineering team provided strong support, assisting with the location’s design. To avoid costly and over-budget expenses, Steady creatively engineered solutions for the salon’s unique plumbing and mechanical requirements.
RESULTS
The owner successfully opened the salon after major but surgical construction designed to meet specific requirements (complex lease terms, pre-approved loan conditions) while delivering a premium salon that aligned with the customer’s vision. Due to the success of this initial project, Steady is now engaging with the owner to explore options for opening additional locations.
